The Mowmo Overview
March 28, 2018The Mowmo workflow is very flexible. With that said, every workflow branches from a basic set of rules and process that is set from how Mowmo ogranizes information. The major data structures in Mowmo are:
- Clients – John, Jane, etc. These are your clients!
- Accounts – John’s Home, Jane’s Shop, etc. These are the accounts (properties) that belong to clients. Clients can have more than one account. For example John could have a home, and a business. These would be 2 accounts.
- Jobs – Jobs are linked to accounts. When you create a job, you specify the account it belongs to. This allows you to do cool things from the job that deal with the account, and clients information.
Because of how this is all laid out, you must first create clients, then add accounts to clients, and lastly you are able to schedule jobs for accounts. This design helps keep everything organized.
If you have any questions as to how this will effect your use of Mowmo, you can always send a message to [email protected]. Just remember, clients have accounts, and accounts have jobs! There are more in depth workflow and process blog posts in the works, so stay tuned.
Edit: Here is a more thorough Getting Started Guide.
